PD Rebel Exercise Class is designed specifically for the person with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Recent evidence demonstrates that the right kind of exercise programme is crucial to modifying the course of your Parkinson’s.
Studies have shown an improvement in Gait, quality of life indicators, reduction in tremors, improved motor control and ease of activities of daily living following completion of the 10 week course. You must have completed an Initial assessment prior to enrolling.
Classes are available in Studio or Online.

A PD specific physiotherapy assessment will take approx. 1 hour.
Our Chartered Physiotherapist will:
- Identify your individual needs and goals.
- Formulate your individual treatment plan.
- Identify suitability for additional PD services including PD Rebel Exercise class.
A PD Initial Assessment must be completed before enrolling in the PD Rebel Class.

Get Active After Cancer is a physical activity programme for patients undergoing or having completed Cancer treatment
The programme is a supervised exercise programme for patients with a medical history of cancer and/or receiving treatment for Cancer.
The programme continuously runs twice a week for six weeks and is delivered twice a year in partnership with Cork ARC House in September & January.

This programme is a specific physical activity for clients attending Cope Day Centres.
Members of the Cope community take part physical activity with the help of their carers and the staff at the Mardyke Arena UCC .
